This project is supported by the National Key Research and Development Program of China under grant number 2021YFA0716201 and monitored by High Technology Research and Development Center (HTRDC). Objectives include experimentally obtaining laminar combustion behaviors of zero-carbon and low-carbon fuels using microgravity facilities for utilizing new generation of energy. Droplet-wall interaction with liquid-liquid reactions as well as single and group combustion of complex fuel mixtures will be investigated under microgravity conditions.

介绍

This project is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) under grant No. 52076117 as a full extention of our previous NSFC project for functional-group-based modelling apprach for distillation and droplet vaporization of complex fuels. It is expected that the transport, vapor-liquid phase equilibrium of non-ideal liquid mixtures and combustion chemical kinetics are modelled under the same framework of quasi-discrete approach. The project targets at models with much less cost but still remain the most important information required for typical spray combustion modelling.
