I am now working as associate professor and Department co-Chair at the Department of Computer Science and Technology in Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. My major research interests are in Web Search, User Behavior Analysis, and Natural Language Processing. I am also a Principle Investigator (PI) of a joint Center (named NExT) between National University of Singapore and Tsinghua University to develop technologies for live media search.

I am now working as a postdoctoral research fellow in THUIR group, Department of Computer Science and Technology in Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. My major research interests are in Web Search, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
I got my PhD degree from Tsinghua University in 2017, supervised by Prof. Shaoping Ma and Prof. Yiqun Liu. I was a Visiting Research Fellow from Feb. 2016 to Jan. 2017 at Real Sakai Lab (酒井研究室) , Waseda University, supervised by Prof. Tetsuya Sakai. I have visited NExT Center for several times, supervised by Prof. Chua Tat-seng. At this moment, I serve as a Visit Research Fellow at NUS.

My name is Jiaxin Mao (毛佳昕, in Chinese). I am a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Tsinghua University. Under the supervision of Prof. Shaoping Ma and Prof. Yiqun Liu, my research lies in the area of Information Retrieval, Web Mining, and Applied Machine Learning. With a wider interest in how people interact with the huge amount of information on the Web, I currently focus on User Behavior Analysis for Web Search Engines.

I also served as reviewer and PC member for TOIS, TKDE, SIGIR, CIKM, CCIR, and CCL.
