实验室简介
Dr. Jun Zhou was born in Yiyang,Hunan, China. He obtained his B.Sc. degree at Dalian University in July 2009, then moved to Zhejiang University to start his Ph.D study. His research involved metal-catalyzed reactions based on aryl triazene under supervision of Prof. Hongjun Ren and on functional group directing C-H activation as well as the total synthesis of tryprostatin A, notoamide C and D under supervision with Prof. Bing-Feng Shi. In Novemeber 2014, he joined Colorado State University as a Postdoctoral Fellow to study metal-catalyzed diaminations with Prof. Yian Shi. In Jul 2016, he joined the Gutierrez group as a Postdoctoral Associate working in the rational design of iron supramolecular catalysts. In Mar 2018, he started independent research as a Principle Investigator in School of Chemistry and Biological Engineering, Changsha University of Science & Technology. In his free time, Dr. Jun Zhou likes spending time with his family.
Group Zhou围绕有机化学领域，在小分子药物中间体的高效合成、天然产物全合成以及催化剂的设计、合成与应用等方面开展创新工作，为药物中间体的精准合成和开发新的有机合成方法学提供了新的策略和思路。2011年至今共发表论文14篇，其中化学顶级期刊3篇（JACS,Angew），一区期刊3篇。2011年获教育部“博士研究生学术新人奖”，2018年入选湖南省青年百人计划、湖湘高层次人才聚集工程-创新人才，获得国家自然科学基金青年项目资助。
