Power machinery mainly includes stream turbine, gas turbine, aero engine, wind turbine etc. The research on fault mechanism and diagnostics has a great significance for improving reliability and maintainability in power machinery. The condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology for machinery equipment is a cross subject which has developed rapidly in recent years. This field covers the integrated application of the mechanical dynamics, sensor technology, signal analysis, artificial intelligence, control theory and computer software and hardware technology. Through monitoring the real-time status of machine, the further analysis and data mining, mainly including anomaly detection, fault diagnosis, prognosis and remaining useful life assessment, etc, can be performed. The main specialty of this research is to emphasize giving a comprehensive utilization of state-of-the-art knowledge in multi-disciplinary fields and developing the interdisciplinary diagnosis theory, method and technology. By analyzing and mining the potential information from big industry data, the decision on the machinery condition can be made, and thus the intelligent equipment diagnosis can be realized.
